random updates.

so i took a picture of my cressida a few days back when i was working on the body.

its nothing crazy but this is what it looks like as of now. I dont have the headlights yet so i cant bolt up the bumper.


Also, this is what the demo RS-R Scion tC looks like after the Rogue Status trouble makers took it to the Targa Trophy Rally.





Also, my front window on my Scion tC cracked due to a flying rock on the 710 freeway.

i tried fixing it with the window repair kit and ended up making the crack bigger.
but this was what it looked like in the process. a syringe. haha i drove it around because i didnt have time to let it dry.

Angry Angle.

Just like everything else in life, you have to look for what's next. The next level. the next hype, the next trend.

MX83 update.

I picked up my last 2 wheels from the refinishing place today. They came out really nice and im happy with the way they finished my wheels. I got them from jdm-wheels.com about a month ago and i finally got them looking brand new.

so next week, i hope my coilovers will come in and i can go pick them up.

I also ordered a Walbro 255 fuel pump and some RCAs from ebay.

Robbie Nishida will be bringing the rest of my Cresta body parts including the headlights, grill, sidemarkers, and cut fenders from Japan in two weeks.

unfortunately, i dont have a motor yet.
Im still debating whether i should go with a 2J non-vvti or a 1J vvti.

a 2J would be much easier to make power but the 1J would be a cheaper swap. I guess in the long run, a 2J would be cheaper.

My Missile X83 update.

So I have been a little slow on the build of my missile.

once again, it is a 1989 MX83 Toyota Cressida.

I just ordered some body panels from RIP GARAGE, located in ATL, GA.

They are actually a second hand import-parts retailer who frequently ships in parts from Japan. I picked up a couple panels for a x81 Cresta which I am trying to fit on my cressida.



Besides that, I have installed a manual clutch pedal (even though the auto tranny is still in there). It freaks people out!

I have also taken out the stock ebrake assembly and mocked up the hydro assembly i bought on ebay. IT WAS CHEAP!!! haha

anyway, more updates later.

Back to school once again and its super hot here in Pasadena. On top of that, ashes are raining on me because of the fire right above us. I have two classes today from 10:25 to 3:00PM. Computer class and accounting. :( its so boring...
