2010 RS-R Scion Racing w/Toyo tC

So im sure most of you (if any) readers are sick and tired of the Cressida and my broken tooth (which i fixed the very next day). So, here is what is happening to my competition car.
The ultimate RS-R Scion Racing Toyo tC that has been refreshed and ready to take on 2010.

Here are some sneak peak shots of the tC as it gets ready for Round 1 of Formula Drift Long Beach. If you guys are in the area, definitely come check out how we drift the streets of LBC.

The biggest change we made this year was the engine. Since the Beams 3SGE did not hold up to our expectations, we have decided to utilize the factory Scion tC engine, the 2AZ. The 2AZ has been proven to be able to withstand high horsepower numbers while maintaining reliability. Chris Rado, my Scion Team mate who runs his famous record tearing Scion tC uses the same base motor (of course for a different application) has proven this motor to withstand numbers up to 900hp, possibly even more.

Also, along with the motor change, we modified the roll cage a little bit to make the chassis stiffer. A stiffer chassis + awesome as hell Toyo R1-R is a deadly combination. It will be full of traction which in turn will give us more smoke thanks to more torque from the 2AZ.

Look out for us touring with Formula Drift for the 2010 Series!

This thing looks like s Snail.

And it is going into my cressida.

I got it from a friend of mine who had it in his LS400. It's a Precision turbine but has a garrett compressor (and internals I think). He wasn't quite sure either but he said its a GT40 spec. .68 A/R.

I also got a HKS EVC 4 boost controller and a Tial w/g. I dont have pictures of the boost controller but its already in my car. YESSSS

I need to get a manifold and the turbo will go in. I say about 2 weeks, and this thing will be done.

Let's hope for 500hp.
